License Management
Instructions on license limit rules, hardware device bindings, and reset slots.
License Management
One Key = One Device Policy
To prevent software key leakage and misuse, ZKZSOFT enforces a strict licensing rule: **One License Key is bound to One Device**. When you first enter your license key inside an application, it records your device's unique hardware identifier. The license will remain active only on that specific computer.
Maximum 3 Reset Slots
Each subscription includes a maximum of **3 lifetime device reset operations**. A reset should only be triggered when you format your operating system, upgrade your motherboard/PC, or migrate your software client to a different computer server.
How Device Reset Works
To migrate your license key, visit the **Licenses** tab in the dashboard:
- Click the Reset Device Binding button next to the desired product license.
- Review the confirmation modal detailing remaining reset counts.
- Click Reset Device to clear the binding. The current machine is immediately deactivated, your remaining resets count decreases by one, and the slot becomes available for activation on your new device.
What Happens When Resets are Exhausted
Once you perform your third reset, the remaining reset count reaches zero. The **Reset Device Binding** button will be permanently disabled. You will not be able to activate the key on any other device. If you encounter an exceptional case (such as hardware failures), please contact our support team for key overrides.
